Type of Help - Cherry - 06-30-2023
So eventually, if the site actually manages to get some traction, I may need to get staff. I'm tired of being disappointed by people I've just met tho so I am going to not accept any help until I have had the site going long enough that it actually becomes a burden, and only allow people that are active on the site to apply. Or approach people I think would be a good match, because honestly if I vibe with someone I should try and scoop them up if they will have me.
Site Staff - I should give them a name so that they can stick out and not be confused with player games' mods.
Admin
Me. Top of the food chain. Don't want anyone to have admincp access but me unless it is Val. Esp not when I have the potential to add premium features in a romantic future that doesn't exist. Only me or someone I pay that I can sue if they fuck me over will ever have access to the admincp.
Player Game Moderator
This role will be primarily approving the changes to player game information and making sure that game makers are acting within the site guidelines. They would also be the ones to answer game maker and player disputes as well as initiate polls for replacing inactive game makers.
- Will not have to approve or setup new games.
- Will not be able to add/remove game maker moderation powers, so will need to report to admin
- Is not responsible for policing game content
Content Moderator
This role will be for making sure the content being posted on the site is on the level. They would want to be clicking through everything new posted and just making sure that is up to snuff with the guidelines.
- Not expected to read every rp post, but will have to handle all content related disputes. (may have to work with player game moderators a lot)
- Will need to be able to look at 18+ stuff, which I won't have available right now but might include in the future)
- Should be looking primarily at game info (the first post of the games), resources, and adverts often. Community is also on the plate, but can be more of a "by complaint" feel
- Character Moderator - Works under content moderator but focuses on new characters being made. Also help with technical troubleshooting.
- REsource Moderator - Works under content moderator but focuses on new resources being posted. Also help with technical troubleshooting.
Game Moderator
Making sure games are posted in the correct area. Handling requests for thread removal or restoral. Helps content moderator with making sure the first post in the games is setup right and follows guidelines. Helps troubleshoot player issues.

polls for replacing inactive game maker
When a game maker goes inactive, members of the game will be given a week to volunteer for leadership. Those volunteers, along with any of staff still active, will be put in a poll to the game members. They will vote for the winner.
In the event of a tie, existing staff will take precedent.
If there is no other existing staff active, the person in the game for the longest time wins.
In the event there are no volunteers, existing staff will take precedent.
If there is no other existing staff active, players will be given one more week to find a leader or the game will be shut down. Players will be able to keep their threads.

Will need to create guides for all the roles so they know how to do the things. This will also help with the customization of the process while I work through it to create the guides.
